Meeting with Santé Relax-Plus, Official Dealer in Switzerland

We had a meeting with Mr Coron, the managing director of Santé Relax-Plus, our official dealer in Pully-Lausanne (Switzerland) with a 160m2 showroom displaying health, relaxation and wellbeing products.
Mr Coron told us that in 2004 he was looking for high quality massage chairs that stood out from the rest due to their design, technology and the reliable aftersales care. That is how he discovered KEYTON. After three years of excellent sales figures, Mr Coron shared his personal views on the business with us.
“It is important to note that today’s customers are more demanding and spend more time comparing products from similar manufacturers. As a first conclusion, I can say that, with a high quality product like KEYTON massage chairs, although the price is important it does not play a major role in the final decision of whether to buy or not. One of KEYTON’s strongest points is undoubtedly its design, which represents an important added value when the customer decides to buy a massage chair for his or her home.
Each country is a different market. In Switzerland, for example, we suffer in business terms as we do not belong to the European Union but, thanks to a comprehensive customer service, permanent direct lines of communication with the manufacturer and the continuous supply of high quality material for our shops, our sales growth has been higher than the average in the rest of Europe.
Another key to our success in sales growth, and perhaps the most important, is our constant participation in local exhibitions. At Santé Relax Plus we often contract the services of professional salespeople. Our experience in exhibitions has taught us that it is impossible to work well if we are alone on a 35m2 stand where at least eight chairs are on show. There is always a financial risk, but the results that we have had over the last three years have encouraged us to keep increasing the number of exhibitions we plan each year. You have to keep an open mind in order to find new ways to reach more and more potential customers.
The visit I made to KEYTON last year along with other official Swiss dealers showed me that there are other people out there with innovative ideas for the continued development of our sales. As a result, and to conclude, I would like to mention the idea that in the future it could be possible for different official dealers in the same geographical area to cooperate in order to form different synergies which could help us to improve our productivity and performance as companies in terms of advertising, shop layout and decoration and even cooperation when we attend major exhibitions.”
